Far from their upstart roots, AMD is today a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance microprocessors, with the broadest portfolio in the industry. For the launch of their Ryzen™ PRO and Threadripper™ PRO processors, they turned to Adcetera for creative support; we developed a series of live-action and animated videos for cross-channel use, including on AMD.com, social media, and advertising.
Adcetera is deeply involved in campaign, web, and brand work for AMD. In the course of this engagement, we became experts in their lineup of CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and Adaptive SoCs, which, combined with deep software expertise, powers compute in countless cloud, edge, datacenter, and endpoint devices. The launch of two new processor lineups was an opportunity to combine our technical and brand expertise with fanboy (and fangirl) enthusiasm for the processors and their capabilities.
The new AMD Ryzen™ PRO and Threadripper™ PRO processors are, without question, revolutionary in their design and capability. Their presentation deserved high energy and infectious excitement, and our videos and cuts delivered. But rather than following the industry in focusing on laboratory performance stats and technical details like core counts and PCIe threads, we spoke directly to the audience and their real-world needs: quality, reliability, and blistering performance against challenging workloads.
Whether an engagement is B2B or B2C, we never forget that buying decisions are made by humans — and emotions are always in play.
